Doss is a well-known speaker company that produces high-quality sound products. They were founded in 1999 and have grown steadily since. Apart from their dedication to improving speaker technology, my favorite thing about Doss is that all their products are highly affordable.

They believe that everyone should have sound systems and have always stood by this belief. Their products average $30. Are they all they seem to be? Let's take an in-depth look at this Doss Bluetooth speaker review.

Doss offers many product lines and is constantly creating new, innovative speakers. Doss currently has four Bluetooth speaker lines and one Bluetooth earbud line. Let's take a look at them.

SoundBox

Doss' best-known and most developed Bluetooth speaker is the DOSS SOUND BOX TOUCH PORTABLE. It has five generations: SoundBox Plus, Pro, and Pro+. SoundBox XL also comes in five versions. The SoundBox compact speaker can play for up to 12 hours straight. The SoundBox features touch controls, Bluetooth hook-up, and high-quality sound quality.

The DOSS SoundBox 12-Watt Bluetooth speaker is stylish enough to display at home or on a desk. The DOSS SoundBox 12W Bluetooth speaker has basic IPX5 waterproofing. This means that it can withstand small liquid spillages and splashes. But its real draw is its ability to produce rich, full sound with deeper bass. The speaker is lightweight, powerful, and comes in a metallic design. It has two stereo speakers that are 12 W loud enough to fill any room. The top capacitive buttons on the Sound box, which include a circle you make with your finger to adjust volume and change modes, can be accessed by a light touch. This speaker is compatible with all Bluetooth devices. The speaker can continuously play music for as long as 20 hours thanks to the high-efficiency Lithium-Ion battery. The included micro-USB cord can recharge the speaker in just 3-4 hours.

The SoundBox measures just 6.6 "x2.9 "x2.7" and can be carried anywhere. It's durable and waterproof up to IPX4. The 12-watt speaker has a richer sound and a more extensive base than other portable speakers.

Performance

The speaker is built solidly. So that you won't experience sound distortion or rattling, even at high volumes. The loudspeaker has two 6W drivers, which provide reliable and abundant performance. However, it does not have sound customization.

You can adjust the controls on the top. You can adjust the volume using the round button. Drag your finger clockwise or counter clockwise, and you can turn up or down the volume. The play and pause buttons can be used to receive and end calls. You can switch inputs by tapping the Mode button. If you hold the button, the voice assistant will activate.

Sound

Sound is undoubtedly the most important feature of any speaker. We were not expecting the DOSS SOUND BOX TOUCH PORTABLE to have such high audio quality considering its price. Although it's not studio-quality or "audiophile quality," we think it's exceptional for what it is.

The speaker performed well with a wide range of music genres. The speaker sounded great on all types of music, with clear tones and good but not overpowering bass. The bass was our favorite part. It is not adjustable, but it does seem to have a nice "thump." The best thing about the speaker is its solid construction. It doesn't rattle or distort even when you crank up the volume.

Another thing. It's quite loud! It is quite powerful for its size. Two 6-watt drivers are inside, which seem to work well together. DOSS, the manufacturer, didn't attempt to squeeze too much power into it. Although 6 watts may not seem like much, they provide plenty of performance. It can be challenging to communicate audio over text. However, we believe the overall sound quality could easily match speakers, costing twice as much.

Value

Be careful. Just because a Bluetooth speaker doesn't cost much doesn't mean it won't deliver excellent sound quality. The DOSS SOUND BOX TOUCH PORTABLE is very affordable at $40.00. If you prefer a more well-known brand, the Bose SoundLink Color II Bluetooth speakers have similar sound quality. You can also get the DOSS Soundbox in different colors, including navy, pink, tiffany, and white. The DOSS Soundbox also comes with an additional micro USB cable, in case you don't already have one.
