Veterans Day honors the service and sacrifice of all former service members and their families in the United States armed forces. Anyone who has served in the military, no matter how long they've been out of service, is welcome to join us today. Veterans Day will be here before you know it. Free meals or discounts are given to veterans and active-duty military personnel to show their appreciation for their service. Veterans Day is held on November 11 each year to honor both veterans and current military personnel. This federal holiday will be observed on a Friday in 2022. Veterans Day free meals are offered by a number of restaurant chains, just like Veterans Day sales are offered by many retail stores.  

There are plenty of options for free meals on Veterans Day thanks to these establishments. Everything from casual breakfast eateries to hearty home-cooked fare can be found in the area. Here you will find a variety of Veterans Day meal deals and more. When in doubt, check with your local restaurant or shop to see if they're participating in the event. Your valid military ID or DD214 must be present at all times. 


Veterans Day free meals at Applebee's have been served up to 8.3 million times since 2008! However, you should check with your local Applebee's first to make sure they have to adhere to different local guidelines as they continue the tradition this year by offering a free meal to these people on Thursday, November 11. 


Show your proof of service at any Red Robin location between November 1 and November 14 to receive a complimentary Red's Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries. The offer is available for dine-in and takeout. Yum! Red Tom has repeatedly offered Veterans Day free meals year after year. 

3. IHOP 

One of the best ways to commemorate Veterans Day is to celebrate at an IHOP location. Veterans Day military discounts at IHOP may be slightly different at different locations. Veterans who visit selected IHOP stores can get a free stack of red, white, and blue pancakes, or a free breakfast combo.  


This Veterans Day, participating eateries will give out free appetizers or desserts to military personnel. While this Red Lobster Veterans Day contribution may seem slim in comparison to others, they do offer a 10 percent discount on Military Mondays, so we’ll let them slide this time. 


Kolache Factory restaurants offer a year-round 10 percent discount to veterans and active military members. When checking out, all you need is a valid photo ID to get started on your sweet or savory pastry adventure! 


A free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast will be offered to active or retired military personnel with a valid ID from 5 a.m. To noon on November 11. 


No matter what day of the week it is, this restaurant chain offers a 10% discount to active-duty military and veterans. From now until the 21st of June, you can purchase $50 in gift cards to express your gratitude to a veteran or active-duty service member. You'll get a $10 bonus card for your next Carrabba's meal if you do this. 


A free meal and a never-ending supply of bread sticks you get one full, happy Veteran! There will be a free meal and unlimited breadsticks and soup and salad at Olive Garden in honor of Veterans Day on November 11. 


Veterans Advantage reports that White Castle has a smattering of options for Veterans Day free meals on November 11 for those with a military ID, including a Free Breakfast Combo or Castle Combo Nos. 1 to 6. 


On November 11 from 11 a.m. To 2 p.m., you can drive into the parking lot of your closest Texas Roadhouse and pick up a meal voucher with a valid military ID or proof of service. 


 Free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert. 


 Just show a valid form of ID at any Hooters restaurant, and 20 percent will be taken off of your bill for takeout orders. This discount applies to all military personnel and is for food only, not alcohol. 


California Pizza Kitchen is offering a free meal and non-alcoholic beverage to veterans and active military members who present a valid ID. In addition, from November 8 to November 10, 20% of all sales will be donated to Disabled American Veterans. 


Military personnel, veterans, first responders, teachers, medical professionals, and nurses can get 30 percent off at Adidas online or in-store, as well as 20 percent off at Adidas factory outlet stores, after validating their status at Adidas. 


All active-duty military, veterans, and their dependents are eligible for a 10% discount on Microsoft products year-round. This is one of those sleeper Veterans Day military deals that can really make a difference on expensive electronics.

This Veterans Day, Dell is offering a Veterans Day discount to all active-duty and retired military personnel. Select electronics are currently on sale for up to 15% off, which is great news if you're in the market for something like that. 


LinkedIn offers a free one-year Premium Careers subscription, which includes access to LinkedIn Learning, to veterans and active duty military members of the United States. Spouses of military veterans can also get a free subscription within six months of separation from the military, or if they’re moving due to a permanent change of station, through the U.S. Department of Defense’s Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program.
